Clinton is about equidistant from Newark and Philadelphia. It is probably
best to rent a car, although there are some public transportation options
from Newark. Although originally the Urchins were supposed to be up for the
entire duration of the show, it is now the case that they will only be up
from Sept 23 to Oct 8. The opening on Sept 23 will include a talk by Choi +
Shine. Then there will be music and a food truck on the terrace where the
Urchins will be. At sun down, 6:50, they will be lighted for the first
time.
I am the curator of this show, called Lace, not Lace: Contemporary Fiber
Art from Lacemaking Techniques. There is a catalog that I wrote and that
the very artistically and digitally adept members of the Brooklyn Lace
Guild brought to fruition. It should be available on Amazon soon.
