Hooray, - some decent reading for later on!!! The IOLI Bulletin has just arrived, so mail is getting though, though slowly. With everything closed â including Libraries, - Lockdown has been rather boring!! Thank Goodness for our Lacemaking!!!!!!! At least we all would have had lots to do â and even, perhaps, finished a few UFOs. (shock! Horror!!!!! ð )
We lost our âState Branch of the Guildâ Librarian, early on in the Lock-down, and had to watch the funeral on the computer. It was SO sad to see her family â only 8 of them allowed, all sitting apart, due to regulations. They needed to be together and hugging and supporting each other. We will miss her a Lot. She will be a âhard at to followâ. She was always telling us to Finish what we were working on, so as a tribute to her, we decided we would each finish a UFO in her memory! I have found the discussion that Devon and others have been having on Lace IOLI Identification and History has been fascinating. Thank you for all the photos and information. Lace has such a complex, but wonderful, history, and I am so glad there are people who can delve into it, and write it up for people like me!! Very Many Thanks. Regards from Liz. L.
