This is my first post and I'm a bit nervous about showing my ignorance here!
I've just discovered www.Etsy.com. In case you don't know it, it's for
individuals to sell hand-crafted things and it's got some lovely items for
sale. Anyway I came across this:

as crochet lace but it looks very like bobbin lace to me. Can anyone tell
me if it really is crochet lace and how to tell the difference?
(I started learning bobbin lace in January and am really enjoying it. Now
working on a torchon garter for my cousin's wedding.)
