Just want to share my excitement of having completed
an enlarged piece of lace; a long scarf, Torchon
pattern, out of hemp yarn.
Currently I'm working on another scarf, using linen
yarn.
My husband has been turning large bobbins for me.
Originally, he was less than enthusiastic about
turning bobbins, as he doesn't generally like to make
more than two identical items. In order to encourage
him to make bobbins, I've suggested that he use a
variety of woods and make each one a little unique,
thus he has found that he really doesn't mind making
them.
