I was then curious about the pillows, and visited the 'Herdule' page - so, you must customize for yourself the pillow required for the project in mind. This page should be seen by anyone who hasn't thought beyond their cookie pillow lately ;)
One thing I like about bobbin lace is that it isn't limited by its technique and apparatus. The same methods can produce widely varying work, and all with the same 'cross' or 'twist' in infinite combination.
