I meant to send the jokes to Chat and made a mistake. Ruth was right to
point out the mistake, to stop anyone else copying. I wasn't offended
by Ruth, who has been in touch in touch privately, and I have told her
so. What does concern me is that she feels she should unsubcribe so
that she doesn't "upset" people again, and I have asked her to
reconsider. I don't want to be the cause of the list being deprived of
Ruth's contributions. What was very cheering was the kind messages - it
does prove that lacemakers are a friendly and supportive bunch.
Now please lets consider the matter closed and get on with serious
discussions about lace.
