I have just had 4 marvellous days of Needlelace workshop with Catherine
Barley in Perth, Western Australia.
During the workshop she mentioned that Inspirations #57 would feature an
article on her Point de Gaze Parasol, and I thought some of you might be
interested in watching out for that issue.
#55 is the current issue, I think, so 2 more months before #57 surfaces.
What a lovely lady Catherine is, and what an excellent teacher. It is, I
think, one of the best workshops I have been to. So much fun, and so much
learning!
The AGM week for the Oz Lace Guild was Fabulous! I had a Ball!!!!!!!!!!

Then, to top it off, I joined the bus trip to Hyden and Wave Rock, some
350km from Perth, to go to The Lace Place where there is an extensive lace
collection, and costume, and wedding dress display. The Curator, Olwen
Scott was on the tour with us as she lives in Perth, I think, and we had a
Hands On session (with white gloves on, of course) and had the privilege of
close study of a wide selection of lace that she brought out especially for
us to 'pick over'!
