I'd just like to wish you all (albeit a day late) the peace and joys of the season, and all the very best for a peaceful, prosperous, and lacey 2008. No lace for me this year for Christmas (not for want of trying by DH though), and Santa's helpers are yet to deliver my christmas gift from him, but this ex-pat Aussie got a bonus treat from her PIL's of some Aussie treats. I'm treating myself to 2 christmas bobbins this year, so that's my gift to myself. I did do a little NL on the 24th, while sitting at the window at my PIL's mountain home, and will do some more today (even though it's not my thing, it's more portable than my pillows and smaller to stash once my young nephews arrive). Yesterday it snowed all day, and we have about a foot of snow. my 'boys' have gone skating on Evergreen lake in the balmy 10F temps. Too cold for me to go skate with DD, so we will wait for a little warmer day.
