Hi Rosemary! I was really glad to see your message this afternoon, because I had not received a single email - spam or otherwise - for the past 24 hours, and was beginning to think that my ISP was failing me. I'm still wondering about that, in fact, because I still haven't received any other mail.
As for the bobbins by Jenny and Graham Hudson... I believe that Graham turns the bobbins, and they are very attractive. Sallie Reason gets some of her bobbins from him to paint her beautiful bobbins - primarily the midlands. She also used bobbins from other bobbin-turners, for other bobbin styles. So... I think you had it a *little* bit backwards... Sallie paints lovely bobbins, with help from the Hudsons (and other bobbin turners)!! I also have a couple of "Russian Doll" pins which Sallie painted.
