No, I'm afraid that Simon does not have a website. He makes these
wonderful pillows in his spare time (he has a "regular" job!), and also
makes bobbins, pillow tables, all sorts of pins, and bobbin paddles. He
usually comes to the IOLI convention each year, where his stand is
usually the first stop for many shoppers! Simon Toustou lives in Canada.
But in all fairness, I will point out that there are some wonderfully
talented craftsmen in the UK, in Africa, in Australia and NZ (just to
mention a few...) who also make gorgeous tools for lacemakers, and also
do not have websites. So the source of our favorite exceptionally
beautiful tools depends on where, in the world, we live or have traveled.
Perhaps we could set up a section on our Webshots which contains
pictures of some of these lovely things, so others can see what we are
talking about.
