That is certainly a different take, to me, on the process of lacemaking, but
an interesting parallel of step-by-step instructions, as we use in making
lace, with the algorithm "set of instructions."
I had to google algorithm, too (I last knew it, in a long ago computer
course, itself now ancient history...); there was a good definition at
Wikipedia, among other sites.

Nice plug for bobbin lace, at this event ;)
