I made mine by covering a Pringle's type can (a tube maybe 12 -14" high and 3.5" in diameter, with a plastic lid on one end. I wrapped it maybe 2" thick with strips of felted wool blanket and sewed it closed. I have a double ended drawstring cover that still lets me use the plastic lid for storage of pincushion, scissors and thread. It looks pretty much like Jeri's, though not with that nifty build-in pincushion.
