Hello Susan and everyone

I for one enjoy your remarks Susan ;)
There is one little quibble, and I have mentioned it in another message -
this word we use in bobbin lace, 'stitches' - it is a confusing term,
considering almost any other 'stitch' I can think of requires needle and
thread, or hook and thread or thread and thread (macramé?). I think best to
describe lacemaking as a pleasant past-time with unique results - using
one's favourite weasel words (another marketing ploy), and other description
as fits the cause - the newcomer can decide if it will be simple or not (I
think it was Helen who mentioned this? good point)
