Does anyone have experience with Tussah silk?

Hi Alice,

As a spinner, I have spun both Tussah and Bombyx mori silk. Tussah is
usually coarser and not as shiny as Bombyx. Tussah is from wild moths that eat
various vegetation and the colors vary. The fibers are usually shorter than
Bombyx.
Bombyx is from cultivated worms that eat mulberry leaves. It's silk is
white, smooth and shiny.
I have not tried to make lace with handspun silk, but it is on my list of
things to try. ;-)
