Hello Sandra and everyone First, just a heads-up if anyone is going to "reply-to" the lace digest, after deleting the bulk of the digest, edit the subject line to be specific. You will get more answers :)
I was just hunting for my copy when I saw Tamara's message come in. I will add that to understand Ulrike's directions look 'all over the place' for symbols, references, extra notes, diagrams as well as text for the relevant patterns. Ulrike is thorough, and crams in a lot of information in any way possible. To find the prickings, locate the color picture of the lace, with its reference number, then look for that number on the black and white pages. Example: Pattern 1.1 and variations are on page 13. All but one of those is 'A' for easy (erm, not having done Binche before...) :) On Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 7:34 PM, Sandra <[email protected]> wrote: > At the 2005 Denver IOLI convention I purchased a book by Ulrike Lohr called > "Dick durch Dunn".
