First, just a heads-up if anyone is going to "reply-to" the lace digest,
after deleting the bulk of the digest, edit the subject line to be specific.
You will get more answers :)

I was just hunting for my copy when I saw Tamara's message come in.  I will
add that  to understand Ulrike's directions look 'all over the place' for
symbols, references, extra notes, diagrams as well as text for the relevant
patterns. Ulrike is thorough, and crams in a lot of information in any way
possible. To find the prickings, locate the color picture of the lace, with
its reference number, then look for that number on the black and white
pages. Example: Pattern 1.1 and variations are on page 13. All but one of
those is 'A' for easy (erm, not having done Binche before...)
