I think this should be in lace (as opposed to chat as it's about position!)
Recently I have had dizzy spells and the doctor said my neck and shoulder muscles were very tight and she thought that might be contributing. I know when I sit at the computer for a fair while I have my head in a bad position due to having varifocal specs and I often have a stiff neck after that. Also I've been doing a lot of knitting (after a solid year of intense lacemaking for my daughter's wedding) and I found that I was often stiff and sore after both lacemaking and knitting. I went for my first ever massage the other week and was really shocked at how painful my neck and shoulders were. The second massage was almost as bad - the masseuse said my neck was like brick! However, in Citie Europe at the weekend there was a demo massage chair (well, seat you attach to a chair!) and after 5 mins I went and found hubby in the sports shop and made him try it. After 5 mins he said - we'll have one of these. So yesterday our back and shoulder massage seat arrived. Lovely. Can be uncomfortable but feels soooo good afterwards. I will try to sit properly and relax my shoulders when I knit, lace etc but bad habits are hard to break! Can't wait for another go today. I'd sit on it all the time if I could!
