Beveren Lace is a variety of Lille Lace, and -yes- it is a point ground lace.
Beveren features cloth stitch flowers and leaves that have a series of larger
'holes' through the cloth stitch. It also often has tallies scattered through
the ground.

The Lacefairy webpage, Lace ID section, has some pictures and a good
description.

Beveren was the lace of choice for the caps of the more wealthy ladies in part
of the Netherlands.

Alice in Oregon ... where rain has been replaced with cold and frost on
everything.

I'm looking at the class list for the IOLI convention next summer and am
interested in Beveren lace. What do you all know about it? I was told it was
a point ground lace; how does it differ from the other point ground laces?
I'm interested in your experiences working this lace and what you like and
dislike about it.
