Lyn Bailey asked How are you planning to spend October 1? Since I live close to the US Capitol in Washington, DC, I decided it would be fitting to walk up there with my pillow and demonstrate today - especially since the US government is shut down. I had nice chats about lace with a number of tourists from all over the world, and handed out a few flyers with lace related websites.
