I've tried cross-subscribing between identi.ca and sportstwit.com, another laconica microblogging service. It seems to work, but not how I expected it to. I expected, when I made an update to an account on identi.ca that it would appear almost immediately in sportstwit.com. They don't. But after some time, they do seem to appear. I'm not certain what the latency is, but I noticed updates in my sportstwit.com account this morning from about 3 hours past.
I was under the impression that when updates are made in a laconica service, any subscribing services are notified immediately. At least that's how I read the Open Microblogging Spec. Could this be a configuration issue at sportstwit.com? Thanks, JoeC
