Hello ! After discovering Laconica on TWiT and then on Technometria, I got really interested ! The idea seems wonderful.
I am working on a community site for an association promoting Swiss musicians (www.trock.ch - only the very old version of the site is up for now). I would really like to integrate something like Laconica into the site. The whole programming is for the moment done in Django. Having a Laconica implementation in Django would make it much easier to integrate it in the rest of the site : use the same authentication database, easily use Laconica for notifications, ... So I am wondering if this Django implementation already exists. And if not if you think it would be hard to start it ... and where should I start ... My background is mainly in enterprise application (some fairly large) in Java. I'm not too bad with Django, but I am far from an expert. Thanks for your help !
