I was just thinking of some of the things that I really wish someone
would get done in Laconica. I'm not sure they're all captured in Trac or
not; I'll just throw them out here right now.
1. A reliable, repeatable method for getting strings out of Laconica
and into entrans (http://laconi.ca/translate/ ), and then back
again into the .po's. I'm having a hard time figuring it out.
2. An install program.
3. An upgrade program.
4. PostgreSQL brought up to date and incorporated into the core.
5. Moving the display functions (HTML, menus, header, footer) from
util.php to the Action class.
6. A system of "hooks" to customize the menu, header, and footer.
7. Sphinx-based search.
If anyone wants to get their feet wet, please give these a try.
