Forum software would be even better, in my opinion.

Hello. Ben again. Okay, I'm new to this mailing list, so maybe I'm
not used to it yet, but this thing is hard to follow. You have to
hunt for responses and the topics are all a-jumble. I realize that I
am a creative type and my brain works a little different...so maybe
I'm not suited to process information in this fashion. HOWEVER...I
had this crazy idea...now hear me out...there is this software
called laconica. It allows you to post, track, and organize
conversations. If there are posts that are of particular interest,
you can "favorite" them, allowing you to organize even further. You
can communicate through private messaging, you can get it on your
phone or even thwirl. It's really cool. Maybe we should ditch this
mailing list thing and ask those geniuses at laconica to setup http://dev.laconi.ca
for us. It might make the process of sharing ideas and suggestions
a lot easier. And since we might need to post things longer than 140
characters, maybe they can remove that restriction or limit it to
maybe 500 or so. Just a thought.
