Hello Evan!
Thanks for your answer about comet. I've read the post of ex20 below
and i think that we're on the same road, i want to implement laconica with a
community portal on a same domain (www.site.com/laconica... &
www.site.com/community). I want the same authentication beetween the portal and
laconica, so when someone registers or logins in the community portal, this one
doesn"t need to re-register and relogin again on the laconica system. (the same
about avatar exchange)
I think that it could be done with some mysql manipulation but login
need to lunch or create suitable session values for the two systems that i
don"t know which.
Could you give some tips on how to etablish convergence auth beetween
laconica and other site ? I don't know if my method will be good !
Cheers!
Kepler

Hi! My target is to integrate laconica in my site as following:
- registred users of my site are also registred in laconica
- authorized users are automatically authorized in laconica as well laconica's
domain is the same (like mysite.lv/laconica) I could write a user import
script, but I have to know about password
hashing, about required tables and data etc. Maybe there are existing
functions that I can use. Not clear about automatic login. Please help! Martin
