Hi,

I've just upgraded our laconica 0.7.4 install to 0.8.0 following the
upgrade instructions and wanted to test the attachment functionality
but encountered a problem. After enabling attachments/mime-types in
config and posting a message with attachment I get an error (firefox
dialog) telling me the following:

Sorry! We had trouble sending your notice (0 n/a). Please report the
problem to the site administrator if this happens again.

The notices aren't updated and the post seems failed. But when I
reload the page I have new notice containing exactly what I posted,
except that when clicking on the tiny URL I get an empty lightbox.

However, the file was uploaded into the /file directory and following
the tiny URL to http://<servername>/attachment/16 correctly shows the
attachment.

Anyone any idea what's going on or a way to debug? I already turned on
PHP logging for the site, but no php errors occur and neither does
laconica.log contain any hints. The only logging I see is access.log
showing a POST request to /notice/new.

Regards,
Martin
