I went once, to see what was it about, saw the ugly mess and never came back. It is like archives on weblogs; almost everyone has one, but nobody really uses it directly. Making it better for me is eliminating it alltogether, and hence my original request. Have you seeing how tags/searches are used in Twitter (it allows to save searches too)? That is an *awesome* feature to mimic. There are no hashtags/tags clouds on Twitter because, really, there is no need for such things. IMHO.
