I am using 0.8.0 on Ubuntu 9.04 Apache2 on Slicehost.

My laconica instance, trymyfashion.com is experiencing Frequent network
timeouts. The site seems to run well for about 15 minutes and then is
unresponsive. Once I receive a network timeout, I try to access the server
via SSH to restart Apache, etc. but cannot establish a connection. My only
option for gaining the server back is by logging into slicehost and
rescueing the slice with a reboot and password reset. After this process
takes off, all is fine.

A few days back I ran into the same issue and was receing some spam too. I
was concerened that the spam may have injected something in the server to
cause the issue. I rebuilt the server, installed laconica and got
everything running again beautifully. The good news is no more spam. The
bad news is the server keeps responding the same way.

My question is do you think I have a server config setting that should be
changed. Is there something in laconica that I should modify to prevent the
server from crashing?
I am not receiving a high volume of traffic. I first began to experience
this issue after installing 0.8.0.

I would appreciate any thoughts or advice. Hoping this is just a config
server setting issue.

Thanks,
