Dear developers of Laconica I microblogged about the idea to link disques and laconica (as is already done for twitter and linked in):"just thinking should there be #mozillaca and #laconica support (linking) as twitter is already there (in http://disqus.com/home/ that is?" on our mozillaca pages build on laconica. It is a great product btw.
I took the liberty to send Disque an email (to the community developer and the sale manager) : <mail>" just discovered disques and must say I like the potential it has to bring the world of blogging and microblogging together in a harmonious way. My name is marco casteleijn and have been involved as an active community member for Spreadfirefox and helped them to redisign the webpages a few years back. Now some of those developers came together to create mozillaca, a microblog service for mozillians based on the Free Software Laconica tool. I am pleased to see that my linked in profile is visible to others, and I like the feature that comments to blogs can be fed to twitter to share interesting stories fast. However, I do comment mainly to technical blogs. So here is my question: would it be interesting to set up the same service for laconica via the identica tool to crosspost automatically as you guys set up for twitter. More and more microblog communities are coming up that build on laconica, and share directly to laconica via indetica tools. I was just on irc.freenode.net/ #laconica and they are open to the idea, but I am of course not a laconica devloper nor a disqus developer. I just had an idea.
