I am setting up a new laconica instance to connect with Twitter and have a
few questions regarding the process. A few things seem different on
Twitter's side and with laconica 0.8.1dev since my last attempt using older
versions.
1. Twitter Application Settings:
1. On Twitter Application Settings I assume Default access should be Read
& write?
2. Application website should be the same as website URL?
3. Callback URL should be laconicainstance/settings/twitter
4. Should "Use Twitter for Login" be selected?
2. Uncommented and entered the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret within
the config file
3. Enabled Twitterbridge, enabled Twitter and setup integration source.
4. I ran sh startdaemons.sh and all seems fine there.
Tried connecting my Twitter account...was sent to Twitter and selected Allow
Access on Twitter's side...was sent back to my Laonica Instance Twitter page
but only see the option to "Connect My Twitter Account". It seems I am
missing something or have improperly set something up.
Any Ideas?
