When deleting a user, should their notices also be removed?

I think that's a big "it depends". There are two types of deletions; voluntary or involuntary. Voluntary would be initiated by the user, and should allow the user to choose whether or not they want their notices kept online or not. Involuntary would allow the administrator to determine of the notices should be kept or not. In cases where the notices are kept, the account should be left in a state of limbo, or removal. In the case where the notices are not kept, it would make sense to remove the account.

Just some thoughts. I'm sure there's corner cases abounding in that simplification. :)
