Hi, I've got a running LAM 2.9.0 on an Ubuntu 8.04. I can add and delete users - everything is working fine (lamdaemon too). My Problem is, that I have to create bout 500 users. For this I use the file-upload-function. This is working properly for about 12 users (and 35 groups (I haven't tested more groups at once)). But if I want to create the other 500 users I got an error message, like this: Warning: printf() [function.printf]: Too few arguments in /usr/share/ldap-account-manager/lib/status.inc on line 85
What does it mean? Do I have to upload in smaller "pieces"? What does happen if I've already created an user an this user is still in the csv-file? Does it give me a note and proceed with creating the others? Or does it stop because there's already one out of 500 users existing? --> I've done a short test about this. If I've got an csv-file with two users, one already exists in the ldap-tree and a second one, which is still to be created, then it won't create the second one. So I conclude, that it is necessary to have a csv-file without any users, which is already existing in the ldap-tree! Is this correct? // This is the "error-message" (sorry being in German) Die angezeigten Accountnummern beginnen mit "0". Addieren Sie 2 um die Reihennummer in Ihrer Tabellenkalkulation zu erhalten. ERROR Account 0: posixAccount_userName Benutzername besteht schon! ERROR Upload wurde nach Fehlern im Modul Unix gestoppt! //end of "error-message" Thanks for your help Simon ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ Lam-public mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lam-public
