I disabled also those options and still no luck.

I tried to install a newer version of sudo (1.8.3p1) and got this error:

sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified sudo: no tty 
present and no askpass program specified sudo: pam_authenticate: 
Conversation error

Ok, the pam part is because I reenabled pam support just to be sure...
