Hi Jose,

are you sure that the user can read the password security question? When
you login with the temporary password (instead of using self reset) do
you see the question there and can update it?

Maybe you had a different setting for LDAP user/password and "Use for
all operations" before? E.g. maybe you read the LDAP data with a
technical user before instead of anonymous.

If this did not help please make screenshots of the complete self
service configuration. Then downgrade to 5.5 and do another list of
screenshots. Please send them to me and let me know if it still works on
5.5.
