I am trying to add a custom field to the self-service page. I've created a
new group which appears on the page layout in the self-service
configuration page. I then go to the module settings page and create the
custom field. That appears to successfully create as it survives a
logout/login. Then I go back to the page layout page and click the Add
input field drop-down. I see my custom field there. I ask for it to be
placed in the new group (or any group for that matter) I've previously
created. It disappears from the drop-down list as if it's been added, but
it never appears in the list on the page layout, nor in the self-service
login. The new group I added although appearing in the configuration area,
also never displays in the actual self-service area (perhaps because it's
empty). I don't see any error messages in the Web server logs. Any
suggestions?
