Hi Roland,
Thank you for your answer.

Hi,
each server profile has its own password. You can set this via LAM GUI
using the manage profiles link. This will set a hashed password in the
profile file.
This tip helped me fix my issue! The problem was that I tried setting
“password” in myprofile.conf, but actually profiles have their password
in “Passwd”…
You can also edit the file and set a clear text password value. This
might be a solution for your Ansible setup.
Good to know!
Best regards,
Yves.

Hi!
I tried, and managed, to create my LAM installation with Ansible only.
In the process, I did not set any passwords, ie. config.cfg contains the
default encrypted password (should be "lam"...), and myprofile.conf
contains no "password" entry.
In this latter file, user authentication is set with loginMethod:search
and httpAuthentication:true. This works.
However, now I cannot change the settings with the IHM, because no
password seem to be accepted... Is there a default password on profiles?
If not, how do I compute an encrypted password, that I can put in
myprofile.conf using Ansible?
Thanks,
Y.
