Hi, I was happy to find this tool as it seems to fit my need perfectly.
So I installed LAM version 6.5 to manage some Samba accounts. I used the Samba 3 template as server config, and only modified the prefix to match my LDAP setup. I can now use LAM to create and edit users and groups just fine. But every time I try to set a password it seems to just ends up setting an empty password instead. I've used the Treeview to check, and it says the sambaNTPassword matches the empty string. Besides I even tried to connect to the SMB-server, and it really accepts an empty password. If I set a password via smdldap-passwd it gets set correctly. Could it be some setting I have missed? Or is there a bug I should know about? Hope I can reach someone who can assit me in this.
