Hi Stefan, did you try the lamdaemon test in Tools -> Tests menu?
https://www.ldap-account-manager.org/static/doc/manual/ch05s09.html#idm4404 Maybe it already reports an issue. Please also check you Apache error log. Since you get an error 500 it looks like something went wrong.
