Roland,

I have a user who just recently changed their expired password and LAM Pro 6.9
insisted that minimum password length be 15.

I did set the minimum password length to 12 in the Password Policies tab for
the default policy and in the General Settings page. I am using salted hash
passwords and obviously using the OpenLDAP password policy overlay.

I’m am running LAM Pro 6.9 on latest version of CentOS 7.7 and running
openldap-servers-2.4.44-21.el7_6.x86_64 package.

Would you have an idea where LAM Pro 6.9 is enforcing a 15 minimum password
length?

I did use the Tree View of LAM Pro 6.9 but don’t see anything. I also did a DIT
dump using ldapsearch Manager credentials with the “+” option to see the hidden
attributes. I don’t’ see a 15 minimum password length in the DIT.

Doing a ‘grep -i length’ in the DIT file for length returns “pwdMinLength: 12”

Jose
