I second the motion for SFS to add a comm, a VOR/LOC receiver and a GS
receiver to the EFIS thereby eliminating the need for a Garmin X30 GPS unit.
This would afford a cleaner panel, fewer wiring hookups, lower overall
cost, AND - we wouldn't have to beg our avionics shop to cut corners on the
Garmin sales policies. Are you listening, Gordon, Nate and Rick?>>
You're putting a lot of responsiblitly on one box doing all this. Is that a
better solution, really?
