Dear Curtis,
The amount of loss can only be described as follows:
While on the ground outside the hanger on the taxiway at an airport with an ILS the
localizer can be heard thru the nav radio and the needle reacts accordingly but the
signal is so weak that the morse code ID cannot be distinguished.
We checked all the conenctions and found a bad one and thus restored the antenna to
this point whereas previously it could not receive at all.
