Hi, I created a page that describes how to use LT as a spell checker for Java developers. Even today, there's no Open Source Java spell checker that supports most major languages properly (think compounding languages) and is pure Java - the Hunspell-based solutions all require native code. I hope that LT will solve that some day in the future, and that it will be the natural choice for any Java developer who needs spell checking in their application.
