I use 5520G-402G16M notebook. ath driver not install simply, and I'm not sure 
it work's fine.
# wificonfig scan
essid   bssid             type          encryption      signallevel
mywifi  02:1c:26:8a:a3:13 ad-hoc                wep             14
r2d2AP  00:1d:60:51:f0:03 access point  wep             13

And i see connection to ad-hoc network on WinXP computer. But computers are not 
pinging each other.
