Yes, you need to install SUNWcry package to let DHCP work with WPA-PSK.
If you use a static IP, the SUNWcry package is not a must.
I heard the SUNWcry will be integrated into Neveda soon, at that time, 
it's not necessary to download and install the package.

I think you used ndiswrapper to support your Broadcom 4318 NIC, but the 
ndiswrapper driver doesn't support WPA at all.
You can replace the Broadcom card with an Atheros card or Intel 
2200/3945 card, all these card's driver works well on WPA-PSK mode.
