The ral driver is for Ralink RT2500 chipset, which is PCI/mini-PCI  
interface.
Your card HWGUSB2-54 is based on Ralink RT250USB chipset, which is USB 
interface, can't be supported by ral driver.
I am working on a ural driver, which will support Ralink RT250USB 
chipset, that will support your card. It will be released to OpenSolaris 
soon.
