You may also try "-k" and hit "F1-A" when the system hangs.

Hm; it may have issues with the no wnative cardbus driver...

I can send you some stuff to "shrink" the miniroot first so you have
more memory to play with; I think you will have difficulty even starting
kmdb on a 256MB when booting from CD/net.
