Yes, I can mount it read/write and write data to the DVD-RAM.

I already did that. The file was written to the DVD RAM but after that Solaris  
crashes. A post about this topic to this forum is still pending due to the big 
attachement. I wait for Casper's response if should file a bug for this crash.

Agreed, the current version of "Gome Media Format" is more or less useless.
