Hi, After following instructions in earlier emails on this alias, on 'press the button i.e. blinking orange and try scan', I could scan the existing networks and connect to my preferred profile.
now the remaining last but not the least caveat is: sometimes, I do not get IP address on ath0 device, by dhcp. operation times out. I would appreciate any pointers for future, on getting around this? Thanks in advance, -Deepti Deepti Dhokte wrote: > Hi, > I am configuring ath0 (wistron CM9 )device using wificonfig utility on > Acer-Ferrari 4000 laptop. > > I see that signal stregnth is '0', > bash-3.00# wificonfig -R /opt/sfw/WIFI -i ath0 getparam signal > signal: 0 > > I tried to find if radio is on or off, with command and I got > 'operation not > supported' error.
