I have SuSE 10 running on my laptop 1st disk.
I Installed Solaris 11 b32 on a disk which I swapped in for main disk
Solaris 11 boots fine when disk is in main disk location on laptop(hda)
SuSE boots fine when its disk is in main disk locaiton (hca)
When I put Solaris into hdc location (secondary location) I have my issues:
in /boot/grub/menu.1st on SuSE (hda) I have the following entry, which works,
sort of.
title Sol11-a
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
SuSE Grub comes up and I pice Sol11-a
Solaris 11 Grub menu comes up and it starts to boot but after 10 sec or so it
goes back to tbe "Toshiba" screen and reboots.
Solaris Grub:
title Solaris Nevada snv_32 X86
kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot
module /platform/i86pc/boot_archive
