I am following the instructions per the wificonfig man page, without
success.
The laptop I have has an Atheros builtin that is correctly recognized by
wificonfig.
My essid is not broadcast and includes a ';' in it. (windows accepts it).
essid=my;wireless;network
I am unable to issue the
wificonfig -i ath0 createprofile myhome \
essid=my\;wireless\;network \
wepkey1=[mykey]
On invocation, the wificonfig does not like something, and the usage message
is output.
Am I doing something wrong ?
In following and continuing to try, I tried to create the profile with just
one argument
(per the usage in the man page):
wificonfig -i ath0 createprofile myhome encryption=wep
The usage is shown again ...
I am running nevada 36.
Ideas ?
