I'm running snv_36 on an IBM (Lenovo) T43p. Works well for
most things. I'm using inetmenu to configure network interfaces
and that works for bge0 and iwi0.

The two USB/2 ports in the notebook work - I use an external
Plextor PX-716UF plugged into a USB/2 port to install and it
works for reading CD/DVDs. However, if I boot in a docking
station, the four USB/2 ports in the dock don't work correctly.
The machine seems to identify the USB/2 connected Plextor
but brings up a window asking me if I wish to format the
DVD (the SNV_36 installation DVD for example which is
not RW media but rather Apple DVD-R burned on an iMac).

Any ideas on what I could do to make the USB ports in the
dock functional?

The Cardbus slots in the dock seem to work OK - with the
rev 0.2 or 0.3 Cardbus driver I can use a Cardbus Ethernet
card (Intel 100 Mbit).

PS - the output of prtconf -D when in the docking station:

[t43p:/]# prtconf -D
