There's a new version of ipw/iwi drivers now available for download from the Laptop Community web page. Support for shared key authentication was added and both drivers were ported to GLDv3 interfaces.
In order to use these drivers with shared wep keys, the authmode property needs to be set to "shared_key" before connecting to WLAN. # wificonfig -i ipw0 setparam authmode=shared_key # wificonfig -i ipw0 connect <profile> - Andrei
